From Naivasha to the dairy value chain
Founded in 2020 in Naivasha, Kirima Fresh Dairies Ltd began with a simple belief: that fresh, quality milk can build livelihoods across an entire community.
Today we work across the dairy value chain — pasteurizing, storing and selling bulk milk — while investing in the value addition that will shape our next chapter.

Our structure
Company structure
Kirima Fresh Dairies Ltd is led by a board of directors and organized across four areas:
- Directorate — sets strategy and oversees the business.
- Management — finance, administration and commercial operations.
- Operations — pasteurization, bulk milk storage and cold-chain logistics at our Naivasha plant.
- Field Team — farmer outreach, milk collection and rider coordination.
Value addition — cheese, yoghurt, cream and butter — sits within Operations, drawing on the same fresh milk supply chain.

Hosea N. Ng'ang'a
Chairman, Director
Hosea brings a strong background in Mechatronics Engineering and extensive experience across the manufacturing and energy sectors. At Kirima Fresh, he provides strategic board leadership while also overseeing machinery installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Charles M. Mutua
CEO, Director
Charles brings a strong background in finance, accounting, and administration. At Kirima Fresh, he leads the company's strategic direction and day-to-day operations, ensuring financial discipline, operational effectiveness, and sustainable growth.
Peter N. Ngugi
Director Finance
Peter has a professional background in procurement and extensive experience in public-sector operations and strategic sourcing. At Kirima Fresh, he oversees financial management while strengthening procurement systems, cost control, and supplier governance — supporting operational efficiency, transparency, and sustainable growth.
Josia N. Ng'ang'a
Director Operations
Josia has a background in ICT and extensive experience in systems design, operational controls, and policy implementation. At Kirima Fresh, he oversees day-to-day operations, strengthening process efficiency, systems integration, and compliance frameworks to support reliable, scalable, and well-governed production.
